Overview


Lucas County Department of Job & Family Services (LCDJFS) provides services such as TANF (temporary cash assist), SNAP (nutrient stamps), Medicaid (medical assistance) , subsidized Childcare, APS (adult protective services), and PRC (prevention/retention/contingency funds). The Partitioning of Child Support establishes parentage, enforces support orders, and collects and disburses child support in order to ensure that families receive the financial support to which they are entitled.

Will I get P-EBT?


To be eligible for P-EBT funds for school year 2021-2022, children must:
  • Received free or reduced-toll meals nether the National Schoolhouse Luncheon Programme OR
  • Attended a school where every educatee gets gratis meals OR
  • Be under six and liv in a household participating in SNAP
  • In about cases, if you already have SNAP benefits, funds will be added to your existing business relationship monthly (around the 27th).  Benefits for some or all eligible children will exist added to your EBT card.  NOTE: In some cases, fifty-fifty if you receive SNAP benefits, you may receive some or all of your funds through a new P-EBT card in the postal service for i or more child in your household.  You do not need to apply.
  • If y'all practise NOT have SNAP benefits, you will receive a new P-EBT card in the mail. Y'all should receive one card per eligible kid.  Keep your carte du jour(s): Funds will be added monthly
  • If you're not sure whether your child's schoolhouse participates in the National Schoolhouse Tiffin Program, yous tin search the database by going to the P-EBT website for Ohio: Visit Ohio P-EBT website

Your applications and documents will exist scanned and added to your case in a timely mode. Currently, cocky-scan stations are not available.

Hardcopy applications can be obtained from the front of 3737 W. Sylvania Artery or may exist printed from the online document centre (PDF). Fraudulent Ohio Benefits Calls

The Ohio Benefits Project Team is receiving reports that individuals in counties across Ohio are receiving fraudulent calls which are falsely identifying that their benefits are ending and requesting personally identifiable information (PII) such as their Social Security Number.

These calls are not generated by the Land of Ohio or whatsoever of its agencies. Please written report these calls to the State of Ohio Chaser General's office at one-800-282-0515 or online.

Official communications from the Ohio Benefits Project come from either (844)640-6446 (phone calls) or (614)350-2711 (text letters).
